Excursion to museums and houses of Russian architecture

One of the attractions is the “Village of Russian Architecture” - an open-air museum, a new project implemented on the territory of the park-hotel and the heritage of Russian culture. In the Village of Russian Architecture you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of ancient Russian life, walk among the authentic wooden buildings, recreated in the best traditions of Russian architecture.

On this excursion you will be able to see a unique private collection of antique irons and samovars. Among the exhibits are works by Russian masters. In addition, you will visit the Museum of Russian Vodka in the art space “M Bar”.

"Park Hotel Orlovsky" - preserving history, preserving heritage!

In the village of Russian architecture you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of ancient Russian life, walk among the authentic wooden buildings, recreated in the best traditions of Russian architecture.

Here you can not only see the recreated houses, which are unique monuments of history, but also stay in comfortable rooms and feel the atmosphere of the special life of the pre-revolutionary period. In the village there are richly decorated with carvings replicas of the houses of the merchants Shadrins and burghers Polyashov, the palace of the nobleman Sukachev, as well as a reconstructed chapel in the name of St. Sergius of Radonezh, a copy of the 17th century Assumption Church in the village of Varzuga in the south-east of the Murmansk region. There are also two museum houses with recreated interior decoration and household items of peasants: the houses of poor and well-to-do peasants of the 20th century.

Church Chapel in the name of St. Sergius of Radonezh

On the territory of the Orlovsky Park-Hotel, a chapel in the name of St. Sergius of Radonezh was built - a monument of wooden architecture, a copy of the 17th century Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in the village of Varzuga in the south-east of the Murmansk region. The church was built by villagers in 1674 by a craftsman named Kliment.

A copy of the church temple was built on the territory of the park in 2021. The height of the two-tiered temple is 37 meters. When building it, conifers from the northern forests were used. The lintel is made of aspen. The temple was assembled by craftsmen from the city of Petrozavodsk.

Russian Vodka Museum” in the AmBar art space

The history of Russian vodka is intertwined with the history of Russia. There is no feast that can do without it - neither a simple peasant nor a tsar.

When visiting our museum, you will be able to look at this drink in a completely new way. There are poems, songs, paintings dedicated to it... And how many famous toasts and quotes are associated with vodka!

The museum is located in a separate building - the AmBar art space. On two floors there are rare copies, luxurious gift bottles, thematic series dedicated to great figures of our history, flora and fauna, festive events and even fictional characters.

Houses in the form of imaginary terrariums are masterpieces of Russian architecture and in the Park-Orlovsky Hotel they are recreated with great care and love.

Visit to two museums with recreated interiors and household exhibits of peasant life. The life of Russian peasants of different classes is presented in two open-air museums. The houses of poor and well-to-do peasants of the 20th century are real Russian huts with recreated interiors and filled with household items. A visit to these museums will give adults an opportunity to remember their origins, and children to get acquainted with the traditions of our ancestors.
